Arthur and I are waiting in the airport. We're on our way to Australia… almost. We arrived at the airport around 7:30pm, our flight is looking to leave around 1:30am so now we've had 5 hours in the airport and we're still waiting to board. I don't really mind though. We drank some wine, fiddled with our gadgets, ran up and down all of the stairs in the International Terminal, twice. Being married is great if it means you have someone who will run up and down airport stairs with you. When we got tired we sat down to work in an uninhabited boarding area under a flight of stairs and Arthur plugged our gadgets in to feed.

Packing for Australia
So I told Arthur that Australia was a laid-back place to live. He came home tonight with his pants ripped through the crotch, because he keeps doing martial arts in them. I asked him if he has pants to wear on the trip he he says, “Eh, *shrugs shoulders* I can’t be fucked, they don’t wear pants in Australia, right?”
Wait for it… Arthur, “I wonder if I can find pants with buttons And crotches.” When choosing number of pairs of underwear to bring… Counted out in underwear,“1- one
2- two
3- many
4- lots.
You don’t need more than lots of anything.” “Do you know what I’m gonna do if it rains? I’m gonna get wet.” – Arthur
Watching Arthur pack is way funnier than anything on TV.
Floating Plants
There is a little duck pond next to the Monarch butterfly sanctuary at Natural Bridges State Park. The surface of it is completely covered in neon green Duckweed (Lemna minor). The ducks swim along with their heads low and eat it in gulps.

Exposed Roots
Still looking at the edges of marshes… The weather today is quite cold. I do some funny things while waiting for paint to dry, but today was special, I went dancing with the ducks to stay warm.
